Does anyone have any ties to the following McLain family. It could have been spelled McLean at one time. Mary Flanagan's husband Felix Duncan McLain - his father was Allen Boston McLain b.1817 in NC (don't know exactly where yet). He moved to Alabama and married and raised his family there. Allen's father was Hugh McLain b. abt 1780 in NC. Hugh married Elizabeth Nancy Morris. Hugh and Nancy married in 1810 in Mecklenburg, NC. Hugh died in Walker Co. Alabama. Thanks, Carolyn
