In the Marriage Records for Orange County, a G. W. MORTON was listed. I am not a member of the Orange County mailing list and therefore I'd just like to ask how I would go about getting info on this G. W. MORTON? In my line, we G. W. MORTONs and have been trying to find out the parents of David, George, Thomas and Mary Ann MORTON who were born between 1800-1808 in NC and are in Anderson County, TN by 1817. No records have been located that shows this group, but each MORTON lists NC as their place of birth. Do not know what happened between 1808 and 1816 when David shows up as paying a tax in either Knox or Anderson county, TN. This little tidbit is very interesting. Thanks in advance, Nina MORTON T.
