"Hello Cousins!" Might anyone of you be familiar with the below family? Have located the below family in the Mecklenburg Co., NC censuses, and am hoping to be able to verify whether these families do indeed descend through the family of William R. and Martha Glenn (CRAIG) McLEAN. 1900 Mecklenburg Co., NC census, Crab Orchard TWP #7, 43-38/11-57: Robert J. McLEAN Nov 1874 25 NC Bell Jun 1873 26 NC Robert H. Nov 1897 2 NC Mary C. Mar 1899 1 NC 1920 Mecklenburg Co., NC census, 58-167/11-7: Robert J. McLEAN 45 NC Annie B. 46 NC Robert H. 22 NC Eunice C. 19 NC Clifford 17 NC Ralph C. 15 NC Marshall 12 NC Gilmer H. 10 NC Ruby B. 8 NC Hubert C. 6 NC Flyn B. 2 10/12 NC Might the above Robert J. McLEAN be the son of John Craig and Ann E. (BYRUM) McLEAN? If so, then there is a discrepancy in his reported age in the 1880 Mecklenburg Co., NC census, and as reported in the above 1900 and 1920 censuses. If this family does descend through William R. and Martha Glenn (CRAIG) McLEAN, I will then be trying to identify this family's descendants through 1930 or so, in preparation for the release of the 1930 census, as part of my on-going efforts to trace CRAIG family descendants from the mid-1700's. Will gladly share what I know of this family's ancestry, if they do indeed prove to be a descendant family of "Our CRAIG Family!" Thank you for any and all help and assistance you might lend in our family's search for "Immigrant Ancestors and their Descendants!" TTYL Craig "Always looking for Cousins!"
