Hello Deborah.... In another branch of our Reed family (other than my direct line) , and much later in time....we have a Mary Elizabeth Dixon who married Jesse Jenkins Reed ( b. 11 Mar 1840 ; s/o Cumberland Presbyterian minister Rev. Carson Pate Reed)...this line of Reeds had removed from Mecklenburg Co by then and gone to Giles Co TN ca. 1809/10. If these are your Dixons , then some of them migrated right along with them . I'm copying some descendants of this line who would know much more than I do (just told you everything I know) happy hunting...........Malinda Jones ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 26, 1999 10:13 AM Subject: [NCMECKLE] Dixon/Dickson Family - Reedy Creek/Back Creek/Mallard Creek > Looking for any information about Elizabeth Dixon died ca. 1815 in Cabarrus > County on Reedy Creek.
