I am seeking information about Peggy POTTS who married John Smith Waddle in 1806. The William Waddle and Jonathan POTTS families lived near one another in the Hopewell section, MECK. Co., NC and both are listed in the 1790 and 1800 census. Jonathan POTTS household had 7 females in 1790, and it stands to reason that one of them was Peggy, but I cannot confirm this. If she was not Jonathan's child, whose child was she? IREDELL Co. NC Potts families do not appear to show a Margaret either. I would appreciate any direction or information. Sheila Anthony
