My Samuel was born in Ireland about 1759 and came to America about 1765-70 to York ,PA then migrating down to the Mecklenburg area. He was a patriot in the American Revolution. Later he moved his family(wife Ursula Granville) to Tennessee. He died about 1821 near Bell Buckle, Tennessee and is buried under a large stone on the family farm there.
