It is in poor condition. When I was a young boy it was out on the shelves but is now in the rare book room. you have to ask for it. it traced all of the Henry Hunter and Martha Sloan children forward. The manuscript of Rev Humphrey Hunter you refer to is now in the research library (NC records) at the University of NC-Chapel Hill. I looked forever for it, hoping that the original text would expand upon the info in Historical Sketches and name Rev. Humphrey's mother and father, ut it was not the case. Our only hope is the Presbyterian records in Derry and the Huguenot connection. the name Humphrey is not a typical name there and may hold some promise.
