I was hired as the part - time librarian for the Kannapolis History Room November 2, 2001. I am on duty Monday - Friday afternoons. Volunteers fill in Saturdays and some evenings. We have two Internet computers with several databases of local interest. Most of the Family Treemaker disks have been donated to the room. We will take limited queries via email or snailmail, I won't spend more than an hour per query. Limited copies up to (15 pages) are free as is research time.
