Hi Mecklenburg List, My name is Mary Johns. I am researching the JOHNS, TIMMS, TUCKER line. Especially, I am trying to fine my husband's gramdmother. His mother is in a care home and we hoped to find her mother while she is living. She never knew her mother. Her first married name was Bernice Timms Tucker, originally from Abbeville, SC but moved to Charlotte in the early 30's. After her divorce (if there was one) the children never heard from her. There were McCree's in Mecklenburg Co, NC, but I can't yet say for sure where and how these McCree's fit into those. (I'm a McCree researcher.) Vicki Hill
