    3. Capt. James Jack was brother to Margaret Jack, who m. Samuel Wilson, Sr. The latter had several children(5). I have the parents of Capt. Jack and Margaret Jack as Patrick Jack and wife Lillis McAdoo. A son of Mary Winslow and Samuel Wilson, Sr, Samuel Wilson, Jr., married Hannah Knox, d/o Patrick Knox ; the latter had daus. Hannah Knox Wilson and Mary Wilson. Mary Winslow was d/o Moses and Jean (Osborne) Winslow. Hannah Knox Wilson married Benjamin F. Alexander, the s/o my uncle and aunt of yore in Mecklenburg Co., NC, Maj. Thomas and Jane J. (Morrison) Alexander. They had at least one child: Hannah Jane Alexander. Hannah Jane Alexander married Thomas Melville Anderson from S.C., and they had a dau., whose name is unknown. This unknown dau. Anderson married Baxter C. Davidson, both were born aft. 1850. I would like to know more about the descendants, if you have anything more. I have loads re Alexanders before, like Thomas Alexanders parents Benjamin & Susannah (Polk) Alexander, backward and downward and sideways. But, descendants of Maj. Thomas & Jane J. (Morrison) Alexander are lacking in some instances. Back to Capt. Jack, I have in a note for him that he was "The bearer of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Indepencence to the Congress". Wondered if this was a copy of it as apparently the original burned. As I recall, perhaps some notes remained. I show no wife or children for Capt. Jack; do you? Also, Samuel & Margaret (Jack) Wilson, Sr., had a son named Robert Wilson. Robert married Maj. Thomas and Jane J. (Morrison) Alexander's dau. Margaret Alexander. They had 7 children. Margaret Jack was one of 3 wives for Samuel Wilson, Sr. Mary Winslow and Mrs. Howard were the other two. Therefore, Margaret Jack and Mary Winslow, with Samuel Wilson, Sr., had a line to two of Maj. Thomas and Jane J. (Morrison) Alexander's children: Benjamin F. and Margaret Alexanders. The name JACK is used in some descendants given names. Please contact me if you want to swap more information.
