Don't know if this is any help but I have a Michael Cline born 1745 in Mecklenburg County. Probably son or Nephew of your Kline. Wife was Mary ( maiden name unknown) they had a son named Daniel. Daniel's son was James and then James named a son George in the next generation. Maybe repeating the family names? I haven't done any research on this side of my family yet and only have the direct line down from research done by my cousin. I did the other side of the family and went into greater detail on mine and will need to flesh out the Cline side as soon as I get the chance. Keep in touch if you think this is a connection and I will share as I get further information. Would appreciate same. He evidently died between Dec 1783-Jan 1784. He mentions a grandson named Michael Lewis, son of deceased daughter, Catherine. Her husband was Michael Lewis Sr. I believe this could be my 5th gr grandfather, but need some help in proving this. Is anyone on this list familiar with this family? Joanne Scobee Morgan
