    3. Harry, Allison Creek is now in York Co.SC but at that time was in Mecklenburg Co. If you look at a Map find Charlotte and take Hwy 49 south to where it crosses the Catawba River (now Lake Wylie).Follow it for a couple of miles into York Co., SC and it will cross Allison Creek which flows into Catawba (Lake Wylie). It is right on the NC/SC line. You can see where Hwy 49 curves east after crossing into SC. That is about where Allison Creek was.
