I looked this up for you in the 1850 census and John C. Weddington is listed with his wife Elizabeth but they do not have any children at this time. What exactly are you looking for ? Oh, this is found on roll 637 p.91 and they were listed in Mecklenburg Co. NC. I also looked on my CD index and John C. is listed on quite a few CD with Family Tree Maker. Hope this helps.
