Neil & Eileen: I have an ancestor, Sarah H Rogers who married Samuel Joseph McCrum/McRum in Mecklenburg Co. NC in 1835. She was born in South Bethany,1806, and buried in Ebenezer Presbyterian Church cemetery in Cotton Plant Ms. 1863. They are my 3rd grandparents. They moved from NC to Ms. after marriage. My greatgrandfather, Joseph Stephen McCrum moved from Ms. to Tx. An unnamed source has reported that Sarah's middle name was Hadassah.
