James Houston Davis, born around 1845 and Mary Ann Allison, born in N.C. about the same time. I know they had a daughter in 1880 in Graham Co., and a son in 1882 in Knoxville, Tenn. You are the first to have both Davis/Allison's in the same family, that I have seen. Please check to see if my line could be related to yours. I have run into a brick wall and can't find any other info on these people. Thanks!!
