Greetings list. Due to the complaint proliferation since our last poll, I have asked RootsWeb to turn off the Gateway feature. Seems that a large part of the problem is the folks using the forum boards as an email discussion list and the resulting gatewayed message to the email list becomes disjointed and confusing, to say the least. Have not received word from RootsWeb as to when the feature will be turned off. Hopefully it will be within the next day or so. A reminder, however, is that queries posted to the email list do not automatically appear on the forum board and it may be desirable to post a message to both the forum board and the email list.
