I'm also trying to follow Isaiah Robinson who came to Vernon/Calcasieu Parish; do you see any connection? My mother is a hereditary deaf mute, Lillie Mae Jones b. August 15, 1907 near Merryville, Beauregard Parish, Louisiana, USA. Her mother is Rosa Lee Robinson b. January 4, 1880, near Merryville, La. I have virtually all of her descendants. Her mother is Mary Jane Elizabeth Hennigan and they are traced back to Hans Michael Henniger, b. 1699 in Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. Rosa's father is Isaiah Robinson, a Primitive Baptist minister, b. about 1850, probably in Arkansas, killed in Vernon Parish west of DeRidder and Rosepine, La. I am searching for any of his ancestors and/or siblings. Can you assist or guide me in any way. I'm very new at internet genealogy.
