Can anyone help with clues to the parents and family of NANCY MILLER b. ca 1800 and married JAMES KNOX (1791-1862) son of Robert and Mary Ewart Knox? They had the following children: Mary "Polly" m. Robert Beard, Samuel Willis m. Sarah Mcauley Wallace, John, Jane m. Abner Deweese, Robert McComb, William "Billy Jack", Joseph Ewart , Nancy m. James White, Sarah m. James LaFayette Rodgers, and Margaret Elizabeth m. John Pettus. There are a number of Millers in the Mecklenburg records and so far we have found no clues at all. Karen Hayes khayes@netpath.net
