He was the son of AMBROSE MCKEE and SARAH BEAN (BAIN). AMBROSE and his family moved to Rutherford Co., TN from Mecklenburg Co., NC prior to 1810. AMBROSE MCKEE and THOMAS MCKEE (probably a brother) were listed on adjacent lines in the 1810 Rutherford Co., TN - Nashville Township Census. Richard A. Bain dickbain@charter.net
