    3. I would like to hear from anyone searching the Alexander line, specifically ADAM ALEXANDER (d.1798) and is buried in Philadelphia Rock Springs Burial Grounds. I am not searching this family but would like to know if anyone who is searching this family has a record of Adam's land. I understand he owned the land the cemetery is on and I have a relative who's land joined. I was curious if someone knows approximately how much land Adam owned in the 1780's-1790's. Thanks, Gail

    3. Verna, Thanks for sharing your web site address. I'm there looking for my families now. Since you've already transcribed Zenas's will, maybe it could be put up as a separate page on your site with a link from the will book? Just trying to figure out some way to make it available since you've already done the hard part once. Anyway, thanks again for all the hard work you done. 3. Sheila, if you take 49 until it runs into Steele Creek Rd, you will be going almost to the SC line and then back up again. That will take you about 15 miles out of the way. There is an even closer way off of I-85, but it makes quite a few turns, I think the Billy Graham Prky will be the easiest route. 3. Shelia, Steele Creek Rd. is also Hwy 160. There is not a good way to get there. It is in the SW part of the county. Off of I-85, take Billy Graham Parkway toward the airport. Stay on Billy Graham until you get to West Blvd. (about 2 or 3rd light). Turn right on West Blvd (you will go around the end of one of the runways at the airport) when you get to the light at Remount Rd, go straight across. Keep going on that road until you come to a "T" intersection. (can't go any further)That is Steele Creek Rd.. Turn left. The church is about 1 - 1 1/2 miles on your left in an "S" curve. You will see the cemetery before you get to the church. If you wish to go to the office (should go in the morning-not on Mondays) take the 2nd entrance and follow the sign to the office. (park in front of the office) If you take the first entrance beside the cemetery, you will have to go all the way around behind the church and can enter through the double glass doors at the back, or continue on around to the front and park in front of the office. 2. Shelia, as you are coming down I 85 toward Charlotte, before you get to the Harris Blvd exit that I told you about to go to Rocky River Church, there is an exit, Poplar Tent Rd. Take this exit, go toward Concord, Church is very quickly on the right. Very old church and cemetery. Then, back on I 85 South to go to the Rocky River Church. Steele Creek Church is off hwy 49, which runs into Steele Creek Rd. Follow Rd till you see the huge church.
