I am looking for information on the ancestors of my great-grandmother, Emma Jane Odear. She was born March 19, 1884 in McDowell County. Her father's name may have been Samuel but I do not have any proof yet. In the Census of 1900, Emma was living in the home of her aunt and uncle, Louise and James Cooper. Any help would really be appreciated as I am having a hard time locating the Odear family.
