NC Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/McDowell?read=543 Surname: ------------------------- some info on the duncan - higgins -. i was taken for a visit to his home when i was very small - he was my grandfathers half brother. my grandfather had quite a number of brothers and sisters. i think that this higgins is the one i visited as a child. my mother called him - uncle hig. my grandfather was named preston parium duncan and his father i beleeive was named sam. i have been told he is buried in the nebo cemetery. his wife was a macintyre and when he died she married his brother who would be father of higgins - if i am correct
