The Asheville Citizen Times is the paper in Buncombe Co and has been for many years, however there were other papers many, many years ago that I do not remember the names of. The papers are on microfilm at Pack Memorial Library, Haywood St in Asheville although some of the MUCH MUCH older ones skip a lot. Librarians there are very helpful. Edie in Atlanta
