I have also volunteered to maintain the Migrations Project for McDowell county, as well as the NC History and Genealogy site for McDowell County. I have added links to those pages tonight. Nothing will change about the old site, the information on it, etc. The Migrations Project is a seperate organization, so far, I don't believe there is any information from McDowell County yet. I believe the project works by visitors posting their information into a nationwide database.
