She had twin daughters named Nora Ellen Pendley and Jane Cora Pendley b.23 Aug 1884 (both twins married a Sullins). Family legend tells that their father was a Doctor Tate from Marion NC, Mcdowell County but I can find nothing about him in any census. Can anyone provide more details? lois@grits.net

Hi: Looking for info on a marriage between John M. POTEET and Nellie MORRISON. I do not have any dates. Without looking at my notes to get all the details, legal documents filed in McDowell County indicate that Rebecca was a daughter of Francis Biddix. There is another Rebecca, daughter of Jonathan Biddix (Francis' brother) who married an Allison.
