Neville, I am a Deputy United States Marshal and reside in Barrackville, WV. My father (deceased) was John W. Neville, son of Wallace Neville born in Rabun, Gap Ga. son of John Neville and Elizabeth Keener Neville. Wallace was killed in a mining accident in Barrackville mines in 1938 when my father was about 4 years old. My grandmother passed away in 1960, 9 years before my birth. I am interested in gathering information concerning Wallace and his parents and grandparents due to the fact that my father had very limited information to provide to me and I know of no living uncles or aunts. I have the book Sketches of Rabun Co.... History and think it is an excellent history book. However, I am interested in obtaining marriage records, birth records and maybe pictures if possible. If you can provide any suggestions, please e-mail me. I am very interested in my fathers side of the family and am not sure where to begin looking.
