Just in case you missed it, I'm hoping that someone has a 1900, 1910, or 1920 census for Macon County for a lookup. Also, was the area around Qualla part of Macon County in 1836. I'm trying to remember if Macon or Swain came first. Or was it Jackson? The focus of the lookup I need is Jerry Monroe Patterson who was born in the Qualla Township in 1836. I am hoping a later census will show where his father was born. I don't have a first name for his father, but I'm hoping it will show a county of birth so that I can narrow down my research. Jerry moved with his wife, Julie Kerr (Carr), and children to the Cowee Valley about 1895. Jerry and Julie and some of the children are buried at Snow Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Thanks!
