In the Macon County Heritage book is a reprint of parts of a survey map compiled by Col. Love in 1820. An article (no author indicated) accompanying the map states that a copy of the survey was posted at Waynesville and two copies sent to the state after the documents were created. Does anyone know where, in 1999, any of these survey documents might be found? Thanks for any help. <angie@mtwest.net>
