Hello, Macon county researchers, this may sound odd, but I have only two known ancestors who came from Macon county, and they are both LEDFORD, Peter Sr, and two of his sons; and David Ledford. David was married to Jane BARNES, from Iredell county, but there were Barnes in Macon...so.... Also interested in Humphrey POSEY, BARNES, TEAGUE, JOLLEY, any other LEDFORDs, BRADLEY, and Lewis VanDYKE. I really only know the Ledfords, I would just like to learn more of the others, as they play specific roles in the lives of certsin Macon county Ledfords.
