That's my Aunt Nancy, wife of the late Wiley Shepherd, my g-uncle. She also wrote the articles on the Shepherd. That first Heritage book was my first foray into the amazing interrelatedness of many Macon County families, Gibsons, Brysons, Welches, Daltons, etc., etc. It really does go on, and on, and on...
