I don't have a birth date for him but based on his father's birthdate, it would fit as the same one. Also, Wallace's wife was named Sarah E. Creaseman, another closely matching fact. My Wallace was the son of Captain William Moore, b. 9/3/1751 whose wife was Sarah Gullick. William was born in Buck's County, Pennsylvania, the son of John Moore, immigrant from Ulster. John and wife Mary left Pa. for Lincoln County. All told, they had 11 children, three of whom fought at King's Mountain, John, Alexander (my line), and William. John (Sr.) was a Commissary Supply Officer, during the American Revolution. I think we got something here, and it would be great news. Those of us researching the Moore's of Lincoln County don't have any more info than his wife's name. I'm going to forward this to my fellow Moore researcher, Jo Ann Sizer, to see what she thinks. Either she or I will be back with you. Many kind regards, Philip Sheppard Beaufort, South Carolina
