I am searching for information about Martha Vaughan born in Macon County, NC b.c. 1817 +/-. Married John Hill b. 18? in Buncombe County, NC. There are a number of children, two are McCager Hill b. c. 1837 NC and Reubin Hill b. c. 1844. John Hill and Martha Vaughan Hill lived in Copperhill, Polk County, TN during the 1860`s. I have information that son Reubin Hill married a Julia Amburn Hill, her father was Samuel Amburn who lived in Ducktown, TN during the 1870`s. Any information would be greatly appreciated. County - 6/6/1904 Macon, son of Samuel Decatur and Rebecca Caler Bryson) 2) Sarah Bryson (b. 1827 Haywood County, d. ?, also a daughter of Samuel and Rebecca Caler Bryson) m. Calvin Grandison Shepherd (b. 9/16/1925 Yancey County - d. ?). I have only a son listed for this couple: Joshua John Shepherd. 3) - and this one is a little more convoluted - Samuel Byers Bryson (1829 - 1895, also a son of Samuel and Rebecca Caler Bryson) m. Mary A. Morrison (1841-1911) a) Alice Magdeline m. Jesse Riley Rickman - son Early Oscar Rickman m. Sissie Mason, dau of Jacob M. and Martha Catherine Shepherd Mason b) Pearl m.
