    3. Robert The Monroe Co TN Clemmers were Lutheran. We have not, definately, proven that these Young's are connected to the Clemmers before their arrival in Monroe. Most have John David Young connected to Peter Young in North Carolina but having done a few hours research on the families I'm not very sure of this. We have here in McMinn a very interesting lineage of Youngs from Jefferson County. These Young's are involved with the Whites. A descendent, Ewing Young, was a fabled character in Taos New Mexico and a very early settler/trader in Oregon (very early 1800's) There has been a book written about him. It is possible that John David Young was in this same line. I did not get to complete this research.
