My GGGfather Thomas Lankford was brn abt 1778 NC,died after 1850 possible Warren/Marion Co TN,his son Silas Lankford married Mary Sitz daughter of William B(Bost?) Sitz, and Elender Choate. Thomas's father was also believed to a Thomas Lankford from NC. I did find a Thomas Lankford in Surry/Stokes Co NC abt 1780 who I believe is my GGGGfather.Could this be the same Thomas Lankford who was a scout with the Patroit's in the RV near Kings Mtn. Roy.
