I am looking for a copy of Casualties among North-Carolinians for General Ransom's Brigade. I am especially interested in a Holden Stogner, who died at Sharpsburg, Sept 17, 1862. He lived in Gaston County but enlisted in Lincoln County. I found him in the Raleigh paper dated October 22, 1862; but they misspelled his name. He was listed as a casualty for the 49th, Co. K but spelled his name as Strangner. Thank you Kathy Hall
