Daniel Seagle b. 1796 and Sarah "Sallie" Seagle b. 1809 who m. Solomon Yoder in 1832. John's are parents shown as John [Seigle] Seagle, Jr. c. 1740-after 1810 Lincoln Co., NC & wife, Margaret [Whisenhunt] Whisenant d/o John Adam Whisenhunt & Anna Barbara Unknown, c.1745-after 1800 Lincoln Co., NC. According to Lorena Shell Eaker's "German-Speaking People West of the Catawba River...., pp. 374,375, 471, etc., John, Jr.'s parents were John [Cheagle/Seigle] Seagle, Sr. & Elizabeth Unknown.
