Do you have any thoughts or ideas on the parents of the other Conrad Weaver, who was first married to Elizabeth Jacobs and second to Nancy Wesson? He died in 1840 and is buried with first wife in Lincoln Co. in the Morris Cox cemetery. [Second wife Nancy wesson Weaver is buried in Old White Church cemetery in Lincolnton.] He was born about 1760. I have heard a legend that he was abandoned as an infant and was named Conrad Weaver because he was left at a weaving mill, but this just doesn't sound plausible for 1760---were there weaving mills in that time? If anyone has any information please post!
