The farthest I have been able to go back was the 1840 census. In the 1850 Census there is an Isaac and Rachel Hinkle living in Lincoln County with children Irene or June (Can't tell by the handwriting), Amanda, Sarah, Melinda, Mary, W F, and Rachel. I am interested in Isaac and Rachel's lineage since anything beyond 1850 doesn't show all the family members in the census. I believe Isaac and Rachel are my great great grandparents with W. F. being my great grandfather. W. F. was William Freeman Hinkle or listed as just Freeman in the 1860 census and then William Freeman in the 1870, 80 1900 and 1910. Any help or knowledge about this family would be appreciated.
