    1. [NCLINCOL] Absalom Bonham, Vardry McBee, Daniel McKisick
    2. Absalom Bonham, Vardry McBee, Daniel McKisick all interacted in the vicinity of Lincolnton, NC before 1800. Bonham was living in 6th Company of Lincoln County, NC 1790 census along with several of Rebecca's brothers and in-laws, and he died in about 1794. McBee moved to SC. McKisick moved to TN. So sometime between about 1750 and 1805, we have these three more or less close to each other. McKisick lived in 6th Company of Lincoln County, NC 1790 census along with several of Rebecca's brothers and in-laws. He was a Sheriff of Burke County from 1777-1779. Fought in the Battle of Ramsour's Mill in 1780. Bonham had acreage...not certain where, but he also owned a couple of buildings in downtown Lincolnton at one time. McBee had a daughter who was supposedly the mother of Rice Farrar Ross, who married Sarah Bonham, a daughter of Absalom and Rebecca Cox Bonham. Bonham's youngest daughter, Rebecca (named for her mother Rebecca Cox Bonham) had at least one child with John McKisick, Daniel's son. I can prove everything except the McBee/Ross connection. Those of you involved in researching in the time frame of 1750-1805, please contact me, if you run across a McBee/Ross connection in your research. Thank you. Sincerely, Brownie MacKie **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms, and advice on AOL Money & Finance. (http://money.aol.com/tax?NCID=aolprf00030000000001)

    3. CORRECTION: McKisick lived in 6th Company of Lincoln County, NC 1790 census.... Should read BONHAM not McKisick.
