My email is jhcline@msn.com. William Sidney KIDS b.1834 parents are evidently William and Mary "Polly" Childers Kids of Lincoln Co. The next Kids generation back is the one who came from England to,presumably, Virginia first in the late 1700s.(I know nothing about the CHILDERS.) The BALLARD connection to my family, I now believe, comes throught the TUCKER family. William Tucker b. abt. 1830 who married Nancy Kids may have had a mother or grandmother who was a Ballard. Nancy Kids(-Tucker) and Wiliam Sidney Kids were brother and sister. But I am directly realated to BOTH through different grandparents. My maternal grandparents were what's called "first cousins once removed".
