Someone already supposly checked the County marriage bonds and they wasn't on it. It was suggested that since marriage bonds were so expenseive that some people just got married in a Church with no County record. I just found out that Martha Asbury's father was Rev Daniel Asbury and started the Rehobeth Methodist Church in Catawba County It was Lincoln County then. I'm going to see if I can get a look up in their records. Harold Gosnell
