My instints tell me our families are likly related somewhere back there. My, John L. Chadwick was 24 Jun 1825, NC, he had a son named John Franklin Chadwick, 09 Aug 1866, Tn. and a son Jim, Mar 1851 Tn and son Joseph Ashbury, 1861 in Ky among others. And since I am not the one who did the research on this family it's hard to say. The line goes back to two brothers Mathew 05 May 1793 SC and Barnett abt 1797 SC.
