Perhaps this could be of some help. In William Sherrill's Annals of Lincoln County, page 409/410, he quotes a Mrs. T. H. Hoover in a sketch of Jacob Rhyne. The sketch states that Jacob Rhyne I had a son, Jacob Rhyne II, born 1740-1745 and died 1825; married to Marie Elizabeth Best. They had 9 children, one of whom was a Jonas Rhyne, born 1789, married to Annie Kiser. Among Jonas and Annie's 12 children was a Jacob K. Rhyne who married Barbara Costner and who "lived a short time in Lincoln County near Reepsville on a farm now owned by the widow of Cousin Elias Rhyne."
