Holcomb, Southern Historical Press, "Tryon County, NC, Minutes of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, 1769-1779," by Brent H. Holcomb, SCMAR, and "Tryon County Documents 1769-1779", by Kathy Gunter Sullivan, published by The Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County. I did not have the time to look them all up, but if you have access to these books, I think they might be of a help to you.
