His 1772 will names Robert Abernathy, Ann Turner, John Abernathy, David Abernathy, Elizabeth Williams, and Miles Abernathy. Robert Abernathy (V?) was born 27 March 1742 in Prince George County, VA. and died about 1792 in Lincoln County, NC.
