I have long sought to discover more information on a White/Wright- Gibson connection in the general area, but find conflicting information showing that there may have been two Gibson families who are closely related and who married into the White/Wright clan. Does anyone have any connection to a Gibson and a White or Wright family in early days, probably 1800 give or take a decade. Wilfong There is a 500 pound bond "void on condition there is no lawfull impetiment to hinder the marriage of Philip Fry & Elizabeth Starr, otherwise to stand and remain in full and venue? as witness our hands & seals this 16th day of October 1808" There's what looks like a slip of the pen on the bottom of the 2nd r of Starr. Note that bond date is same as marriage date in my first posting, so the marriage date is probably not correct.
