    3. There used to have be advertisement for the Lincoln County Heritage II book at this site http://webpages.charter.net/lindabarkley/ Now it says there is no permission to enter. I was trying to update my information and provide them with a new mailing and e-mail address but cannot get through to anyone. Can you tell me the status of the book? I submitted three articles for publication and paid for an advance copy of the book. I have not had any luck contacting anyone on the book status. As I recall it was supposed to have been out in the fall of 2003. Please help if you can or redirect me to where can get an answer. Thank You, Don Huffman [email protected]

    3. Thomas Jefferson's parents were Bartholomew Thompson b. May 16, 1759 d. August 17, 1838 and Mary Martha Guthrie Mayberry b. 1763 d. unknown but was still living in 1851 at age 88, married on March 4, 1785. I'm just a casual observer but was interested in a discrepancy. The Bynum Marriage book has a different date for Bartholmew/Bat. This is their entry: "Thompson, Bat; Mayberry, Mary; Moses Abernathy; 11 Aug 1798" Which is correct? jeff
