John Jr was not on the 1790 census but may have been the other adult in his father's house hold. John Jr was dec by 1807. Louisa then married William Branton. There are several transactions between Louisa/Lee Branton and Phillips in the Cross Index. Based on various things we think that Louisa and John Phillips had children John S., Thomas A. and Emphraim/Euphena M. E.. who could have been a son or daughter but probably a daughter. In the Dobbs Cross Indexes there is a transactions in Book 23 - 1805 - 1810 - between William Branton (or) and Louisa Phillips (ee). This may have been a marriage agreement as Louisa was a very wealthy widow. Don't know if William and Louisa had children as the census records are not clear. Don't see him on the 1840 and he was dec by 1850 when Louisa was on the census as head of household. Martha
