Recently found a payment book , I think and I am trying to decide what it is. On the first page of this small book is written: This book is to be used only by______________ (and there is a name written in this blank ) for his or her information and used in connection with the purchase of Lot No 20121, in square No. 5350 , District of Columbia, from the Roland Park Land Co. Then at the botton of this page is written Contract date- Nov. 23, 1926 Price of lot $ $950.00 First Payment- $20.00 Monthly Payments-$10.00 Date DueEach Month - 23 date Note Present this book with each remittance for credits. no payments allowed unless properly signed for by an authorized representative of the company or by the treasurer. Then there are several page s of payment made starting Nov. 1926 -a authorized agent J Henry Brown. The cover is OD GREEN/BROWN- SORT OF FLOOD DAMAGED but I have sort of misplaced it. Any ideas as to what this is all about?
