Found many letter from the mid 1890's to my great-grandmother, Sallie E Heath from her uncle in Fitzhugh, Florida. The address on the letters is "Miss Sallie E Heath, Fields P.O. NC". Does anyone recognize this area? I knew that both her father, Thomas A Heath and the Rouse's lived in what they called "the country" and not Kinston City proper, but did not know where exactly. After the parents deaths, Sallie and her husband George Kinsey Rouse, sold the two farms and he built a house in Kinston between 1900-1904. Susan
